AFK Punish v2.3

:!: Special thanks and credit goes to Spinner for initial concept, design and for testing :!:

Requirements:
  • Eventscripts v0.9.1
  • Mani Admin Plugin or Nemod to enable chaning player team to spectator
  • Ultimate Admin scriptpack (if you want admins to be immune to spectate kicks)

Installation:
  1. Extract folder afk_punish to your events directory
  2. Add eventscripts_register afk_punish to your autoexec.cfg
  3. Restart your server

Settings:
  • afk_timer : Delay to check for afk after round_freeze_time is over
  • afk_reset : Reset afk count if player is not afk for a round
  • afk_spec_round_limit : Number of afk spec rounds before kick a player
  • afk_spec_reset : Reset afk spec count if player rejoins the game before they are kicked.
  • afk_kick_reason : Reason given for player when they are kicked
  • afk_adminplugin : nemod or mani
  • afk_adminflag : This is used by the admin check. You can set a flag within UA. Just like in the keygroup you have "admin" "1". Set "afk_spec_immune" "1" which is the default adminflag for afk_spec check. If you want all admins to have immunity then you can just set this to 'admin'.

Advanced Configuration:
    Open afk_punish_mani.cfg or afk_punish_nemod.cfg depending on which admin plugin you are using. Edit that .cfg to suit your server.

It would be nice if spectator will be kicked too, if they are many rounds Spec.

shouldnt matter as bots dont go afk...
if you want to make the console spam go away you could toss in a bot check

Too bad this script pack would prolly not work on a respawn server... and it does nothing about people chillin in spec

All the coordinate spams are from es_getplayerlocation
The NOT RUN! are when the player dies, the round ends or the player disconnects before the afk check.
The keyerrors are from the useless player_spawn event that runs before player_activate!!!! pfft!
Basically all that should be there

No but I've left space for it (afk_check_rounds.cfg). Im just not sure how well long es_delays would effect a servers performance.

could you add, that the afk'ler is transferred to spec instead of being kicked? that would be great.
also it would be great to add a immunityfile, so that players with certian steam_id's could get kicked or swapped to spec?

and i got another question, when does the "es_xsetinfo afk_warning" show up? randomly or when sb. was afk for one round?

When you add that, then you can also make a spectator kick option. For example: After 3 Rounds he will be switch to Spec. After 6 Rounds he will be kicked.

I hope player_spawn fires even for spectators!

If not I'll have to use long delays.

I tested it on our CS:S Servers, AFKs are getting kicked and slayed, but spectators can use spec mode how long they want.

Could you implement an Spec-Kicker? And could you make an immunity-list, so admins can use Spec-Mode for a longer time?

Would be very nice...

Would be no problem installing this script.

I already have Mani installed, if there are no problems between Mani & Ultimate Admin, i would install that if needed for the spec-kicker with immunitylist.

Will you make an spec-kicker?
