   Post subject: ServerMail Script Pack
I created the ServerMail script pack example to show-off some of the experimental v0.8.0 features:
    1. Allows users to leave the server admin a message by saying
    Quote:
    !report <message>

    2. A single admin can dump the messages to their client console by saying out loud this command:
    Quote:
    !checkmsgs

    3. Download http://mattie.info/downloads/servermail.zip
    4. Extract it into the 'servermail' directory underneath your eventscripts_subdirectory.
    5. Add the following lines to your autoexec.cfg (use your STEAMID):
    Quote:
    eventscripts_register servermail
    setinfo servermailid "STEAM_0:0:0000000"

    6. Restart your server
    7. The script probably won't be actively supported by me-- it's mainly a proof of concept example.

Great script and very useful!

I found a "bug":
I read point number 7 but i felt that i had to point (;)) out that the admin have to type !checkmsgs in the chat, not the console, otherwise it won't work. Don't know yet if the other players see the output but gonna check that.

Yes, this is the expected behavior, but other players cannot see the resulting messages.

I reworded the documentation to make it even more clear:

I´ll try to get the msgs-data in a mysql-table so you can check your admin msgs online on any webbrowser...soon more updates :)

i would love u 0664 if you could do that for us and release it publicly.

:D :D :D :D

and allow us to delete messages and blah blah blah....or even make em go to an email account would be nice to with the senders steamID in the subject and the message in the context of the email.

Very nice - however,I dont want to be know as admin and I would also prefer if people could do their complaints privately.

So please make the commands work in the console too.

I love this script. If someone could continue development then that would be great. It would be nice if there could be more than 1 admin and also if the messages weren't dumped to just one user. Maybe have them left on the server with a delete option and possibly add a menu

This would be probably the most useful script available if these bits could be added

if reports would end in my mailbox or would be online
using a mysql-db (plz include a php-html page in it ^^ )
