Post subject: Predator mod V1.2

Predator Mod V1.2

Requirements:

Eventscripts V0.9.5
Mani-Admin-Plugin V (Whatever version has ma_color, givecash and takecash)
es_tools (only required to edit out sv_cheats 1/0 spam)

Description:

In settings.cfg you can change around settings like what to say to obtain Predator
by default, while in-game type color_pred and if you have a certain amount of money (changeable in settings.cfg), you will become invisible, get your speed multiplied by 1.1, receive more HP, have all your weapons but knife stripped from you, and receive nvgs. You can set whether you want this person to have Predator the whole round or just a set amount of time.

Don't forget to read the readme.txt, it has the instructions on installation

-Added lower grav for predator (changeable in pred_settings.cfg)
-Fixed chat spam bug
-Added invisi knife of Pred
-Added new setting allowing you to set whether Predators can have weapons or not

i reuploaded a fixed version with lowered gravity
you can dl now

I also added invisi weapons (more pred like)

nice i get it working in a min and reset the server soon

Hey,
when im done with my totally awesome mod will you host it on your server for a day or so as a BETA to make sure there are no bugs.
I'm not gunna tell you what it is because it'll be a surprise
I GUARANTEE that it will bring peolpe to your server and bring them back again with this mod lol
Right now i'm waiting for the map to go with the mod
(my mapper is slacking

)

Then all i need to do is put in coordinates and all that fun crap

but I dont think predator will be compatible lol
just for a day though for beta is fine the ill leave it up to you whether u wanna keep it on there or not

BTW predator is untested but it should work fine
Let me know if its broken

ya sure sounds like a great idea (tested predator and seems ok weapons knife and stuff are still visible though i think if anything u made them go black lol) but grav is great

Well that kinda sux. I would like it if you could choose between 3 classes, then sub-classes for each class.

Code:

Example: 
Class - Predator then Sub-Class (Elite, Assassin, Warrior)

And then Make it even cmon only Preds???

The 3 classes could be Alien, Predator, Human. I saw the predator mod for cs 1.6 it bored me....It was just a predator. This mod reminds me of Hidden: Source for HL2 mod in steam games. Just Hidden does it abit better. After all these are just my opinions and AVP kicked some ass even though Predators uled it all V_V. But yeah I like the 3 classes... with unique abilities...

Humans - Good shooting
Predator - cloaking and that would be cool if predators could see enemies in their radar.
Aliens - wall walking

But yeah nice mod good luck with it.

oh i sorta see what ur saying lol how about we add in an alien and that
be cool lol then the mod be called alienvspred lol

but sub classes i dont know about that lol adding an alien class would be good but that should be about it lol

alien and pred should both be reduced prices to lets say 8000 now lol

p.s. hay sumguy can u make it so more than one person can be pred?
and or also add in alien? (alien extra 50 hp, run 1.5x faster than normal(bit faster than pred) faster knife swing, jump high and see everyone as beacons but try to cut out the beep sound ya know lol)

that will keep a good mix throught the game and if ur neither then well ur human of course lol

also give pred 50 extra armor cause hes armor plated ya know lol

LMAO Only Alien VS Predator would make it boring! It would be nooo different from CTs Vs Ts just remade. It will not be popular as it should be. Cause AVP is sh*t Kick...Actually I was thinking this
3 Classes / 3 sub-classes

Code:

Classes/Sub-Class:
Alien: 
Drone: +0 HP +10 Armor +60% Speed
*Special* = Regenerate 3 - 5 HP/Second

Brood Warrior: +75 HP +25 Armor +20% Speed
*Special* = Night Vision/Lower Gravity

Queen : +150 HP  +50 Armor -40% Speed 
*Special* = Choose a teammate to respawn (You can do this 1 per round)

Predator:
Brawler: +10 HP  +0 Armor +10% Speed
*Special* = Knife Damage increased by 40%

Stalker: +50 HP  +100 Armor +30% Speed
*Special* = Partial Invisiblility/Cloaking (Disables Invis. While attacking.) 

Hunter: +100 HP  +100 Armor +10% Speed
*Special* = ATK Damage increased 20%

Human: 
Infrantry: +0 HP  +0 Armor +10% Speed
*Special* = Spawns With M4a1 and USP (Full Ammo/Not Unlimited)

Sniper: +0 HP  +10 Armor -10% Speed
*Special* = Spawns With AWP and 5-7(Full Ammo/Not Unlimited)

Exo-Suit: +150 HP  +200 Armor -40% Speed
*Special* = Spawns With M60 (Full Ammo/Not Unlimited)

I can give you more info if you would like...I think Preds And Aliens alone with NO Sub Classes would be boring yet again to say....But this is your Mod and I was just sending my ideas.
(However, if you do like my ideas all I would want is a slot in the Special Thanks to list )

oh ya i mean that be a cool mod and all its just the only reason id perfer not too much is that my servers cluttered with mods already lol for start i mean we could add in the pred into the current version and i just thought of a new one now (predalien) just some mix of the two into one lol

it would be a cool mod thats all i just wana keep room so that ur not choosing 10 different classes and subclasses and races and species and heros and villians and all thats all lol

just wanted some fun system to add in lol i dont want too many things to choose from lol (possibly the sub classes could be implemented through the ammount of kills and not more xp stuff) (basicly i dont want to choose alien/drone have matrix mod warcraft mod and a version of superhero/villian mod all in one server lol

that be too nuts there should be two kinds of mods out there a light version with 1-3 main classes and a large version complete with xp and submenus and shopmenus and all lol

if i could implement all my smaller versions into one nice shopmenu that be cool lol

(for an example like just check out my server its nuts and all lol already)

EDIT: tell ya what add it to one of the current mods already out there like WC3 mod or something like that and then ya that be totaly awsome

i seen the same system implemented in wc3 mod but with just the predator and u had to be in the final lvl for it work it said (lvl 20+, knife only)

So your telling me youd perfer PredAliens over humans??? And I am curious how they mate! Very curious, could you explain? Anyway you should keep that info just incase.....

The PredAliens dont sound any different fromvamp/lycan......its all a cheap hybrid theory/fantasy which in real life when you mix 2 different genes they wouldnt be as strong so the actual Hybrids. Hey you guys good luck with your mod.

I made this mod on request from jeff_d5
I don't have the time right now to make it into 3 classes with 3 subclasses haha
Right now I'm finishing up a sweet Saw2 mod. It comes with a custom map.
The whole mod is based of the plot of Saw 2, I'm almost done with coding but my mapper isn't done with the map yet

In your list of Classes and Subclasses whats the Special?
Is it something only that sub-class can do?
or is it like you have to get 10 kills then you get that special power for a round?
EDIT: And any ideas on what I should name this?
