Description:

    What is smauth:

    Smauth is a libary for python that allows you to make use of the sourcemod authentification system. It loads/reads the admin configuration files and provides an interface to use them.

    Example:

    Pretty Status List by Omega_K2

    Docs:

    smauth Python Libary Docs (generated by pydoc)
    smauth Service Docs (generated by pydoc) (The interesting Part is the SMAuthService)

    Notes:

    planned to release this for a while. Too lazy for a better description, sorry... will update this with ESS-wrapper (started work on that) if there is high-enough demand. Might do a version compatible with the auth service, dunno yet.
    This has been for like over half a year on ES but I was to lazy/had no time to make it properly.. so well, this is better then nothing ;)
Installation:

Unzip into folder.
To use the service, add the following to your autoexec.cfg:
es_load smauth_service

    • Uses 4 spaces instead of tabs now

    • Fixed PlayerAccess problem with passing unformatted steamid

Does this work as an auth provider, or will scripters have to include support for it themselves?

Right now it only works if they add support for it themselves, but I'll add auth capabilties in a future version :P It was just a private script in the beginnign, I simply deceided to release it since people can probably use it well.

Das Script ist für Coder gedacht. Damit kann man "ganz einfach" auf Sourcemod Admin zeugs zugreifen und dass in sein script einbauen, anstatt das alles selber schreiben zu müssen.

Warning! If you use a script using HasFlag2 or IsAdmin2 you need to replace these functions or wait for an update.

smauth:

Can i make it with other flags ? Lige one with R and another with T ?
I have done this on my server, but it dosent work with diferents of sm admin flags.

Uhm, that sounds like something is wrong with your admin.cfg, more specifically a missing identity entry

No problem, i got it fixed.

In my admin.cfg file, i forgot the last " in a steamid for an admin.
After that it work perfect. Thanks for this addon!

   Post subject: Re: smauth (SourceMod Authentification Provider) 10th August 11

Well i installed the script and ran it with out changing anything..

The error im getting is.
Code:
"could not open script for addons/eventscripts/smauth_service/es_smauth_service.txt"


Looking in the archive that file is not in there.

It should be loading smauth_service.py, and if that fails, ES will then try to load es_smauth_service.txt.
