Requirements:Description:
    This small script is an ES2.0 port for the SAS_3rdperson Script.

    It allows players to switch into third person view (refer to screenshot). You can either use chat commands or console commands to activate and deactivate third person.

    NOTE: I assume this works only with Counter-Strike: Source

    Chat commands:
    Code:
    !3rdon
    !3rdoff


    Console commands:
    Code:
    3rd_on
    3rd_off


    Credits go to Colster for his original 3rd person script.

Download: Installation:
    Put the "thirdperson" folder into your "addons/eventscripts" folder.

    Add this to your autoexec.cfg:
    Code:
    es_load thirdperson


    Edit the configuration file in your "thirdperson" folder. (config.cfg)

It should work, I just downloaded it and loaded it up fine. Heck I even just uploaded a youtube video example.

Are you sure it doesn't work? You need ES2.0 if you don't.

Using it right? Chat command: !3rdon

Well, it works for 3rd person, but the player camera stays in one position only, so i can't aim at enemies. Just in case, download this demo file and play it (hope it works):

I will try and find a way to change the angle, but I think it is restricted to the game itself, as in the script I use a spectator view to do this.

I will try later to get this done.

If you are talking about viewing angles, I don't think their is a way?

Though, the desired effect is in the video, so if it isn't like that, something is wrong.

No man, it's not at all like in the video file. if you watch my demo you'll see what i'm talking about. i can't move the crosshair

Great script...it works. It's just walking forward looks wierd that's all. Just sliding...when going side to side...it sometimes shows the animation of moving. The only with third person is that you need to switch out of it to switch weapons. So if you wanted to throw a nade in third person and you have a weapon equipped. You would need to turn off third person, switch to a nade, and switch back to third person to able to throw the nade in that view. Good script though.

EDIT: I also noticed that when you go 3rd person view....it removes the amount of armor and the time clock when you go into that view, but if you switch back to normal...the things are back.

Okay, I can fix the HUD problem in a next update. As for the sliding part, I can't do anything about it, ValVE is mean lol. For the weapon switching I have to explore that problem for a bit.

@adyshor37: I will watch the demo once I get my laptop back and try and help you.
