   Post subject: Entity DESTROYER!

Entity DESTROYER!

Uses:
  • Disable Objectives
  • Remove entities awuh0 wanted to (lol)

Installation: http://mattie.info/cs/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46
  • Extract folder ich_entdestroy to your events folder. (upload/copy w/e)
  • Modify the default es_entities_db.txt or create a new one.
  • Open setting.cfg and change to the folder of the new entitites keygroup or leave same for default
  • Register scriptpack
    • Add to autoexec.cfg eventscripts_register ich_entdestroy and restart server
      or
    • rcon eventscripts_register ich_entdestroy

Configuration
    There are seperate folders for each different config keygroup file. They can be loaded by.

setting.cfg holds the default file thats loaded when the script pack is registered

    The 'remove' and 'keep' keys are whether you want entites to be removed or kept on the map at round_start. They are strings of entities seperated by #'s.
    There are 3 groups. #all #maptype (#cs, #de, etc) and mapname. Any entity in a remove list will not be removed if its in one of the lower 'keep' lists. So in part of the above example, it will remove func_buyzone in every map except cs_office.

I did a quick test earlier today while no one was on the server (not as a script pack but you know it works if it's from Ichythys). I switched the map to fy_iceworld_orig ran something like this while watching an awp:

sv_cheats 1; ent_remove_all weapon_awp; sv_cheats 0

And the awp automagically dissappeared. It's a little ugly if you're holding the weapon already. For me it switched to a left-handed view and disabled the weapon although it was still displayed. Still though, this is so much better than the item_pickup/drop commands I tried before.

Tell us more sv_cheats secrets ichy!

You need to use es_math, es_copy or something to change the value of sv_cheats so that its not broadcasted.

What I did was set two variables ed_1 and ed_0 to 1 and 0 respectively then used es_xcopy sv_cheats ed_1 to enable and es_xcopy sv_cheats ed_0 to disable.

uhh i havnt actually downloaded this yet but this also removes the "Hostages have not been rescued" and "target saved" thingos 2 right...

Use the disable objectives download i just added, that will do it. I dont know what the round end message will be though.

I don't really understand how to remove the wanted objects...I tried some ways but none worked. Could you healp me please ?
Please Ichthys could you have a look at this and tell me what to do ?

K I simply used the commands and it works fine enough for me.
