This is the first version of eXtensible Admin (XA) released to the public for large beta testing. (requires EventScripts 2.0 Public Beta 2)

eXtensible Admin is a fully featured admin framework written in ESP. The XA core provides libraries to manage administration type modules, commands, settings, languages, menus, Auth and more - whilst custom modules provide server admins with all the functionality they could ever need (and more)!

Thanks to the development team for all their work on this!

Installation:

eXtensible Admin requires and ships with Mattie's Eventscripts v2.0.0.250i Beta 2 or newer!

XA requires an Auth Provider to be loaded before XA itself is loaded, more information on how to load an Auth Provider can be found in the Authorization FAQ
Put es_load xa into your cfg/autoexec.cfg
Restart your server or run es_load xa in the server console and change the map.
You can then change the settings of XA and it's modules in-game by accessing the configuration menu by typing "xa" into the chat. The option "Plugin Configuration" will allow you to change all XA variables in-game and save them to cfg/xamodules.cfg.
Everytime XA is loaded and new modules register with the core, XA will update the cfg/xamodules.cfg, there you can change all the settings the XA modules provide.
If you need to know which Auth permissions XA uses, type xa permissions into the server console after XA has been loaded.

Usage of the XA menu:

You can type "xa" in the chat or your client console and the XA menu will open up for you if you are having the permissions given by your Auth Provider. If it does not appear, please check for any errors in the server console and report them.Chat and Console commands:
Currently XA supports the following say/console commands by default:

thetime (Public, Module: xathetime.py)
timeleft (Public, Module: xatimeleft.py)
nextmap (Public, Module: xamapmanagement.py)
settings (Public, Module: xasettings.py)
@Hello World! (Admins only, Module: xasay.py)
@@Player Hello Player! (Admins only, Module: xaextendedsay.py)
@@@Hello Admins! (Admins only, Module: xaextendedsay.py)
!auth (Admins only, Module: xaauthmanage.py)
!redirect (Admins only, Module: xaredirect.py)
!skins (Public, Module: xaskins.py, not loaded by default. You need to have a Mani Skin configuration!)

Mani Compatibility:

For now some modules do support Mani's configuration variables and files if xa_manimode is set to 1 in cfg/xa.cfg. The overall Mani compatibility mode is EXPERIMENTAL and a lot of work still needs to be done in this area.Please report any bug as soon as possible. And please note that this version is not made for servers that can't afford downtime-- it's beta quality.

XA Core:
- Added support for custom permission handling in XA.
- Added Immunityflag support.
- Added automatic clients.txt converter for Group Auth and Basic Auth if xa_manimode is 1.
- Changed auth.registerCapability to mymodule.registerCapability
  XA needs to know about custom capabilities
- Added [user] parameter to xa permissions to check the capabilities of a user
- Renamed getCapability to getLevel
- Added more immunity flags to manipermission.txt mapping
- Fixed: The link listed in 'addons/eventscripts/xa/xa.py' for the 'info.url' is invalid/non-existent.
- language.py now adds placeholder items for other languages
- Added custom filename support for non-module related paths to language.py
- Added requirement references
- Fixed unloading part of xa.py
Auth Manage:
- Fixed: User not being created in group_auth when added from the menu.
  Made a couple minor changes.
- Changed names of permissions in xaauthmanage.py
Flood Control:
- Added flood immunity. Flag: immune_flood
Player Management / Punishments:
- Added immunity flags to xaplayers.py and xapunishments.py
Vote:
- Changed everything to classes, made it easier to read
- Added random map vote and build multi map vote
Rock the Vote:
- Fixed known bugs
Quake Sounds:
- Fixed Firstblood bug in xaquakesounds.py
Added more language strings, thanks to all volunteers
Any many small fixes

Please overwrite all existing XA files.

This looks even as a beta like a solid Idea. I love how the modular setup of this is. I cant wait for more!

I have a personal hatred toward the Mani plugin. The setup is great, but its been quite a while since a decent update....Its given me and my server headache after headache for the last 6 months...

Fast Download is a feature provided by any Source server itself. You can copy all files to a Webserver and people will download them through that one if sv_downloadurl is set.
