Requirements:Description:
    - message will be sent when camping with any weapon
    - effects will not be applied when using excluded weapons
    - last player alive on a team is not punished

    - camping is allowed for CTs if the Bomb has been dropped
    - camping is allowed for Terrorists on Hostage maps
    - camping is allowed for Terrorists if the Bomb has been planted
Download: Installation:
    1. Install Mattie's EventScripts plugins:
      http://mattie.info/cs
    2. Extract the file [anticamp.zip] to your /cstrike/ directory:
      /addons/eventscripts/anticamp/es_anticamp.txt
      /addons/eventscripts/anticamp/es_mapconfig_db.txt
      /cfg/anticamp/anticamp.cfg
      /sound/ql/blip1.wav
    3. Add the following line somewhere in autoexec.cfg or server.cfg:
      es_load anticamp
Version Notes:
  • 2.2.8a -
    • Fixed: else do... else do... beacon per team color now works properly
    • Fixed: 99.9999% of people probably didn't even notice that I forgot to change the variable name that announces the version of anticamp when you load it (as most people will just load it through autoexec, while I generally test by unload/load)
  • 2.2.8 -
    • Added: Separate color for T/CT beacons (EST beacon only)
    • Updated: Changed the public variable to AntiCamp2 to distinguish from Blade's original Anticamp.
  • 2.2.7b -
    • Fixed: if block missing do in event player_spawn
  • 2.2.7a -
    • Fixed: Last man option from v2.2.7 wasn't being initialized properly on load (though it worked beyond the round it was loaded in)

    • Fixed: potential crash when slap is enabled as a punishment and a dead player who for any reason was still in the anticamp keygroup.
    • Fixed: added a double-check to help ensure that dead players are removed from the anticamp keygroup.

    • Added: configuration moved to [/cfg/anticamp/anticamp.cfg] No more need to fix your settings any time a new version comes out. If anything is added to or removed from the cfg file in the future, I will document it with its release.
    • Added: support for ES_Tools! Mani Admin is no longer required, and an option has been added to the config so you can choose between the two effects if you have Mani Admin installed (uses ma_effect sparks, but est_effect light ring)
  • 2.2.0 -
    • Added: massive stability update; addon no longer creates a complete player list every second
  • 2.1.5 -
    • Fixed: loop timer was working correctly, but setting its value incorrectly
    • Minor: Version information displayed 2.1.1 instead of 2.1.4, now correctly showing 2.1.5
  • 2.1.4 -
    • UPDATE: ESTools is no longer used to create the beacon effect. It has been replaced with the more stable ma_effect 3, which creates sparks.
    • Fixed: setting loop time (1 second or 2 second) was improperly implemented, but is now correctly done
    • Fixed: unnecessary expansions
    • Added: extra catch in block slap that double-checks to make sure that dead players aren't slapped (as it prevents them from moving in free camera mode)
  • 2.1.1 -
    • Fixed: Removed extra curly bracket "}" in block beacon
  • 2.1.0 -
    • Added: You now have the option of whether or not to send a message when a player is camping with an excluded weapon. It still will not punish the player, regardless.
    • Added: Ability to have punishments applied every 2 seconds (default, like 2.0.13) or every second (may cause lag, as the check loop is running twice as often)
    • Added: Many variables that used to say they must be set to certain values now have value verification, ensuring that invalid values aren't set.
    • Fixed: Various minor syntax changes (mostly pertaining to "ifx () do {}")
    • Update: Default settings have been adjusted.
  • 2.0.13 -
    • Fix: Removed unnecessary code
    • Update: Default configuration changed
    • Update: Updated install notes and configuration explanations
  • 2.0.10 -
    • v2.0.9 is an invalid version (it has the v2.0 files)
  • 2.0.9 -
    • Fixed: various unnecessary expansions
    • Fixed: missing bracket in block cash
    • Fixed: extra parenthesis in block weapon_checks
  • 2.0 -
    • Added: Users can set a list of weapons that will not cause punishment for camping.

Major release v2.2.0 should alleviate problems with anticamp causing server crashes.

Previous versions created a player list every second with the block check_player loop, which is unnecessary, as it gathers far more information on each player than is needed (only needed name, teamid, index, health, and weapon - also technically needed position, but it was already being pulled using es_getplayerprop).

I believe this every-second deletion and recreation of the player list is what was causing server crashes.

Ironically, I've had no complaints about the addon crashing servers, but I've verified that it was, in fact, causing them.

Functional release v2.2.2 adds support for ES_Tools. Now either ES_Tools or Mani Admin must be installed in order to use beacon, but the two plugins each offer their own effect (Mani gives a spark effect, as in v2.2.0, and EST uses the traditional beacon ring light effect).

Next release will also support using both effects.

2.2.6 is up; it just adds some more options for beacon

couple changes to the config file (version information, beacon variables, increased default times a little bit)

If you don't want to overwrite your cfg, the new lines in the cfg are:

ES:
            anticamp_cfg "1.1"

            anticamp_beacon_red "255"

            anticamp_beacon_green "0"

            anticamp_beacon_blue "0"

            anticamp_beacon_size "800"


Check the 2.2.6 cfg file for more precise definitions on these variables (anticamp_cfg is config file version information)

is there any way to get this to still work on the last t or ct alive? I mean half the reason I got it is cause theres always some noob left alive hiding in the corner and no one can find him. I need this to work on last players as well!!!

I can add an option for it... generally I think most people allow camping in situations where it'd be 3v1 or even more... highly unfair, imo; 2.2.7 will support it, though.

tbh i just can't stand campers... a small amount of tactical camping i think is fine, eg. when you can hear someone coming so you hide round the corner, and in matches where it matters. However my server runs gungame and it is plagued by pussies who come on and literally just hide in a corner of the map so no one can find them. Even if you are the last person alive you shouldnt sit in a corner shaking, while 20 other people are waiting for you to finish so they can play the next round. I have never understood the mentallity behind coming on a server and deliberately hiding in a corner and pissing people off. Anyway you must dislike camping a bit if you put all that effort into writing an anti-camping script lol.
i'll stop blabing now cause this isn't a camping debate forum lol, thanks for your work, E

2.2.7 is up for you :) I haven't tested it, but it was a fairly simple change.

Also, I'll note that I'm not currently running it on my server, as I believe it's still causing some minor instability issues (at a level that is generally acceptable for heavily modded servers around 1 crash per day -- I just happen to be picky and like the fact that my server doesn't crash often :P)

hummm i dont think its workin dude...
well i installed the new version over the old and set up all the cfg to how it was be4, + the anticamp_lastman "0" and nothing happens.
It does say the "there is only 1 player left for terroist" but thats it.
I will go back to the last version for now :P
