SuperVillains V3.5

REQUIREMENTS:

Mani-Admin-Plugin VLatest

EventScripts VLatest

* Mod completely customisable in usersettings.cfg
* BuyMenu completely customisable in buymenuprices.cfg

Ways of Gaining XP:

* Knife Kills
* headshots
* kills
* bomb planting
* bomb defusing
* hostage recuing

Ways of Losing XP:

* TKing
* team hurting
* hostage hurting
* hostage killing

Make sure to add this to autoexec.cfg

V3 Updates

*Hopefully fixed bug causing the mod not to save player XP. Typo =D

V3.10 Updates

*Still didn't fix the not saving automatically bug.. and I found another typo, now I'm sure its fixed.

* Took out MoleMan because It was very glitchy and my mod was crashing ES.. so I hope this fixes it.

V3.15 Updates

* Added resetallskills (Resets XP and Level of every class.
* Made it autosave all classes every round. (So definitely no chance of it not saving...)
* Cleaned everything up
* Also fixed problem where some sounds weren't playing when they were supposed to. I fixed this by adding some code to downloads.txt (Make sure to read the readme!!)

V3.2 Updates

* Added an admin addon! scroll down for details
* Reduced lag
* Added to usersettings.cfg

* New Class! See Class listings for more details

V3.35 Updates

* Renamed classes (More creative Credit for names goes to Lilbnyfufu) Scroll down to see the new names
* Added feature to buymenu allowing you to use money and buy XP
* Bounty Add-on (You can turn it on or off in usersettings.cfg along with SuperVillains admins)
* Added more abilities to Grenadeguy. (Scroll down for description)

V3.4 Updates

* You can only access buymenu while on a team, not a spectator
* Made zeus have unlimited health, and inivisibility for X amount of time (modified in usersettings.cfg)
* Fixed bond where it's not always a sure thing that you will take extra damage for all levels. And made level four take away 50 HP by default, you can modify it in usersettings.cfg
* Other things I can't think of right now...

V3.5 Updates

* Fixed juggernaut
* Made the buymenu a separate folder, with the ability to disable in usersettings.cfg
* Added admin commands

Admin Addon:

This is an addon to SuperVillains, to disable check usersettings.cfg. To give admin access, open es_admins_db.txt and add the steamid of the person you wish to give access to.

Admin Say Commands:

svadmin_givexp <partial name or userid of target> <amount of xp> Gives XP to targeted player

svadmin_takexp <partial name or userid of target> <amount of xp> Takes XP from targeted player

svadmin_levelup <partial name or userid of target> Adds a level to targeted player's current class

svadmin_leveldown <partial name or userid of target> Subtracts a level from targeted player's current class

svadmin_supervillains <on/off>: Turns SuperVillains on or off

svadmin_buymenu <on/off>: Turns SV add-on, BuyMenu, on or off

svadmin_bounty <on/off>: Turns SV add-on, Bounty, on or off

svadmin_userids: Lists all info of all players in console

svadminhelp: Lists admin commands in console

svadminhelp_on: Turns on svadminhelp notification on round start

svadminhelp_off: Turns off svadminhelp notification on round start

Bounty add-on:

This is an addon to SuperVillains, to disable check usersettings.cfg
This add-on basically allows a player to be worth more XP if killed. If a player gets X amount of kills a bounty is added to that player starting at X XP (Defined in usersettings.cfg). Everytime that player gets a kill the bounty is raised and everytime that player survives a round it is raised. The player who kills the bountied player gets all the XP.

BuyMenu:

All Prices Customisable in buymenuprices.cfg

Bullseye:

Takes 30 more HP away on each hit

Rubber Bullets:

Causes players to bounce around when shot by your bullets

Zeus:

Able to type zeus and obtain noclip for X amount of seconds. (Editable in usersettings.cfg)

SuperVillains Classes:

Pyro (Formerly FlameMan): Able to burn people by
shooting them. As FlameMan levels,
he obtains the ability to burn people
more often with each shot.

Homer Simpson:Able to get people drunk by
shooting them. As Homer Simpson levels,
he obtains the ability to get people drunk
more often with each shot.

Dark Ninja (Formerly KnifeKwanDoe): Able to disarm people by
slashing them with a knife, also able to use
a dragon kick on someone by jump-crouching
then knifing someone in mid-air. And also
becomes more and more invisible as he levels.
KnifeKwanDoe has a better chance of disarming
people by slashing them as he levels.

MoleMan: (Deleted)

James Bond: James Bond takes away more HP
with each shot by a deagle. As he level s it takes
away more HP. Level 4 = One hit kills

Hobgoblin (Formerly GrenadeGuy): When Hobgoblin throws a
grenade he regenerates a new one faster
and faster depending on level. And as you level you get more types of grenades. (e.g. level 3 players get a grenade and 2 flashbangs on spawn and regenerate them if thrown)

BlizzardMan: Able to freeze people by
shooting them. As BlizzardMan levels
the chance of freezing becomes more
and more frequent.

Juggernaut: Spawns with more HP
as you level. Amount of extra HP per
level is customisable in usersettings.cfg

how about a toxic guy...
when you shoot them it infects them and their life slowly drains...
stopping at like 5hp


or someone that permanently blinds people with flash nades...leaving them only with 10% vision... or maybe their flashes can cause damage as well as blind them..

Good idea, i dont think i can do the thing where it leaves you blind, because nemod is broken, and mani can't fade white. but i can make the flashes hurt you. maybe the higher the level the more damage is done.

Ill add that and the acid thing in

the slowing down reaaction time and slowing the person down would require nemod also. nm_freeze. Mani has ma_freeze but it has all these effects added in and it would prolly lag bad if i put that in. Bury is a good idea and that would probably be possible with teleport, so ill try and add that too

HEADSUP, I will be releasing the Fixed bug buymenu, has glow colors, hp, ammo, and attack maneuvers. Use XP to purchase items. Edit prices in buymenuprices.cfg

how does mani slow a person down when they are on fire? could you apply the same methods?

it would be awesome if you could make the flash hurt them the closer they were to it.. AND if you peg someone directly with your flash they are killed no questions asked... you know how it takes like 1hp off your armor when you are hit directly with a flash... well, have it inflict 100% damage... you could also regenerate their nades...faster regeneration depending on XP!!!

heh...i dunno if its possible but you could make a marksman villian...
give them no recoil and insane aim... just limit the rounds in their clips so they must reload a lot...

the marks men thing i dont think i can do but the nade thing is a good idea. Im not sure if I can do distance though. I can make the thing where if a nade hits u you die. But make nades regenerate? You mean like after you throw a nade u obtain another nade after x seconds?

Again, nice ideas, Im working one little bug outta my menu then ill work on mole man and the nade thing

what about a gun that doesnt fire as fast but kills with one shot...
kinda like james bond golden eye - golden gun
if one of their bullets impacts someone it kills them...

limit their powers by controlling the rate of fire and force them to use a deagle since it can only carry 7 rounds per clip...

and yeah, regenerate their nades, give them more after they throw it...
faster regeration depending on XP
and limit the nade guy to pistols only since he can blind the [CANDY NOODLES] outta people...

Hey all!!!

I tested this mod out last night and really do like it BUT...it created lag on the server, enough that I can not use the mod.
Can it be cleaned up some or know any server tweaks I could do?

If the server is running on a computer in your house, then do ctrl + alt +delete. Go to task manager and go to processes. right clikc on srcds.exe and set the priority to high. Should help.

if you go to srcds.com they have a batch file for keeping your server running and automatically sets priority to abovenormal.

(note: if the server crashes and there's a message box it wont restart)

Server is not running anything in my house, we rent a dedicated cs:s server.
I think it's something with the code is all.
Been threw this before with other scripts and mods.
If the script could be cleaned up so it does not add lag, that would be great.
If not, no biggie.
