Last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank Mattie and the EventScripts Community without whom none of this would have ever been possible. Without your support and efforts, GunGame could never exist.

I would also like to extend a personal thanks to cagemonkey, for the original creation and concept of GunGame. Both cagemonkey and myself worked hard on GunGame4, but he was unable to directly participate in the coding of GunGame5, as life has kept him fairly busy recently.

We have worked countless hours on perfecting the code, performance, and various bug fixes that were found in previous versions of GunGame. The speed and performance improvements are as much as 98% in most cases. We have also created a slightly different configuration structure that I hope you will all enjoy. We feel that it makes the configuration of GunGame even easier than before.

Also, we would like to announce a new website dedicated to GunGame (click on the image):

Feel free to post there for all issues. You will find an FAQ for included addons as well as GunGame5, documentation (far from complete at this point, sadly), screencasts, and much more. We have done our best (and are still working) to gear this website to be the one stop resource for all that is GunGame.

In the meantime, take care, and get your game on!

And I would like to point out that XE_ManUp got married this year while developing GG5 and we all owe a ton of thanks to his bride, Allison. We also owe a ton of thanks to XE. He kept the team moving forward through 543 builds.

There is no admin menu yet in GG5. There was but it was removed for further work.

Hi Guys ,First of all many thanks to all who worked on Gun Game 5...tis very much appreciated.

My problem is that every time I connect to my server it say downloading the gun game sounds even if I already have them.
Here is my download text:

sv_cheats, are you using sv_downloadurl (aka fastdl)? If you are, then that problem can happen if you do not have the .bz2 versions of the files on your webhost.
