The logic in NewRewards has been updated to better handle players with either the maximum or minimum amount of money.

just a quick question, where it says goal i'm assuming it's bombing, defusing, rescuing hostages and what else?

newrewards_teamloss_failtopreventgoal

I'm not sure what that implies, failed to rescue hostages, plant the bomb, or defuse the bomb?

"Goal" is rescuing hostages or detonating the bomb.

Failing to prevent the goal is when the Ts fail to prevent the CTs from rescuing the hostages, or the CTs fail to prevent the Ts from detonating the bomb.

If one teams fails to prevent the goal, the other team will accomplish the goal.

Cool thank you, that's what i figured but I wasn't sure.

One other question, The money rewards for bomb exploded. Is that given to any player who was killed by the bomb even CT's?

Are we talking about newrewards_money_bomb_explode? If so, that will only reward players for planting a bomb that explodes. The round after the bomb explodes, all Terrorists will receive newrewards_teamwin_accomplishgoal and all Counter-Terrorists will receive newrewards_teamloss_failtopreventgoal.

No setting rewards players for being killed by the bomb :wink:

Thanks for the info SD. I got it figured out now. One thing this helps is evening out the money when Terrorists die by exploding the bomb. Something we do on our server.

Feature request for this is to add in a score variable to the team for preventing a team accomplishing their goal. For instance all the T's prevented any hostage from being rescued gives every player on the team a variable in kills. Same for CT's on a bomb map. If the T's fail to detonate the bomb the CT's are rewarded with a variable number of kills.

The reason for this is on our server/s the objective is our focus and we want to allow scores to reflect that. We have kills disabled so the only score you see in the board is for what you do objective wise.
