How do I disable friendly fire?

Friendly fire is turned of for my server, but halfway through playing the GunGame mod, a message in chat window comes up and says "Friendly Fire is now enabled", or something along the lines. But I don't want FF on.

How do I disable the GunGame mod from suddenly turning Friendly Fire on?

Its in your gungame3.txt file. I would show you exactly the command but I dont have it with me lol. When some1 gets to like the last level it turns ff on. I had to delete all my custom spwnpoints cause they were all ruined! But thats what I get for not updating lol. O well I will remake them with version 4.

in es_gungame3.txt look for:

es_xsetinfo gg_ff_auto 1

Change the 1 to 0

es_xsetinfo gg_ff_auto 0

Friendly fire will not enable then -- Restart your server, should be good to go.

Hi,
I have this for lan and sometimes use bots. I want to be able to restart the whole game. When you do mp_restartgame 1 it resets the score but not the levels the players are on. Is there any way to reset the whole gun game?

rcon es_unload gungame3
rcon es_load gungame3

That will unload it then reload it and it should reset.

Hey i have got gungame3 working on my server. But to start it i type in "rcon es_load gungame3" as i havent put it in autoexec.cfg, was wondering if there is a way to automatically load gungame3 when a gg_ map is loaded? and when a normal map is loaded it automatically turns itself off? Any ideas?

  • Place this code in a file named es_mapgg.txt.
  • Place this file in a folder named mapgg
  • Place this folder in the folder addons/eventscripts
  • Add this line in your autoexec.cfg :

  • Restart your server ;)

There are two ways you can do this.
One way We've listed in the Gun Game FAQ as this is a common question. You can find this here: http://www.cagemonkey.org/forum/gungame.php

The other way is update to GG4! One of our users (MrYoung) has created a great addon for it that does just this. You can find this addon here: http://addons.eventscripts.com/addons/view/yaggl_es

Hi,

Just installed this on my server. The mod works fine, menu pops up when you join etc, but no-one levels up except bots it seems.

Would could be the cause of this?

( Using the latest version )

Add the option to use the winning popup like in gg4

Cage is most likely not going to add anything to v3 anymore unless there is a bug. v4 might be an option.

This is correct. We are still doing bug support for Gun Game v3 but are no longer adding features.

Sorry, but Gun Game v4 is now stable and the release candidate version will soon be its official release. Also, we have plans in the works for the future which we are working on that makes unable to create features for multiple versions. Gun Game v3 currently runs alot of features all of em at once.. for us to add more features would affect performance and most likely drag Gun Game v3 down. Gun Game v4 is great to use because of its set-up. Any feature you aren't using, doesn't get loaded and this creates better performance. Also, even though we are done with the core features of Gun Game v4, there are still people making custom add-ons for it and more and more features will become available for it because of this. We are looking to the future of Gun Game and features for an older version unfortunately aren't able to be included in our plans.

as a server owner i ran gg3 for about a month and had multiple crashes now i run gg4 and havent ever had one not a single one. good work and this is running the beta..

You must have had something really messed up for GG3 to crash it. All 3 of mine are running GG3 and not one crash so far. Can't use GG4 since its damn converter script is bugged.

hi,
i have a problem with the new versions of gungame 3.4....
i cant switch the ammo on 200. the ammount in the script shows 200, but in the game i only can use the standart ammount (deagle 35, shotgun 32 and so on).
can someone help?
