*** Description ***

Assassination is an old Counter-Strike game mode where the main objective is to escort the "VIP" to the escape zone.
Terrorists have to prevent this by assassinating the VIP.
The VIP can't buy or pickup any weapons and has limited ammo (configurable).
He usually starts with a knife and USP with 24 rounds (configurable).
This addon should work on every map.

*** Installation ***

1. Download the addon (make sure you have SPE installed)
2. Upload all the files to your server. (Fastdownload server is recommended.)
3. Open addons/eventscripts/assassination/configs/ and configurate the addon
=> If the config files are too hard to read you can create your config online here: Configbuilder
4. Write es_load assassination into your autoexec.cfg
5. Restart the server or load the addon via rcon

  • ADDED: Eliminating the VIP or escaping (as VIP) will now be rewarded with $2500
  • ADDED: Eliminating the VIP as a Counter-Terrorist will now be punished with -$3300 (Plus the default penalty for teamkilling)

Looks great, I will install it on my server, I had the L. Duke's mod, and another one wich was compatible with CS:S & CS:GO

No, they're not. I don't want to waste time on the addon if nobody is using it anyway.
Only the VIP has a weapon restriction at the moment.

Problem :
When the vip is dead, round doesn't stop.
Same when the vip is in the escape zone.
Also in a round I had a M4a1 in hands, I don't know how.

Any idea ?

Did you install Autokick Disabler ?
It's necessary to trigger the custom round end. Also you need it to strip the weapons from the VIP after spawning.
My guess here is that the VIP had a rifle from last round and it couldn't be removed from the player, because Autokick Disabler is missing.

Sorry I missed that point, everything works fine now, except for kevlar set on 200, but stays on 72, and it doesn't count vip escape or vip kill as victory point for round.
For 72 in place of 200 I think it is really 72, because when I walk on a kevlar (mod) it is added to the 72.

Otherwise it's just excellent !

As far as I know the HUD can only show a value of 0 to 127. The "real" value should still be higher.

Example:
Real Value => Value in HUD

200 => 72 (Reason: 200 - 128 = 72)
250 => 122 (Reason: 250 -128 = 122)
300 => 44 (Reason: 300 - 128 = 172 - 128 = 44)

Alright, there's also a round money problem for T's but I think it is because of that Round win not counted.

I'll tell you if I find something else

no, random crash i guess, but very fast, logs empty, il try record video with server console for catch moment :D

upd: i get it, server alvays crash at round start console without errors, just crash
objectives work fine, i can win round with escape or kill VIP, skin also work, spe turned off in config for safe, but when next round start, you know

Try to disable SPE in the config file for now and see if anything works.
I will take a look at it tomorrow, because I'm going offline now.

Please replace your assassination.py with this debug version: Assassination
And post your log afterwards.

WeaponDump is a very spammy event and will print lots of messages into the console. But this event is only fired when SPE is enabled.
In your case it has to be a problem with round_start or after a VIP is set.

I'm also aware of the double-round-end bug. For example: If the VIP is the last CT player alive and gets killed then the round_end gets fired twice (VIP Killed + All CTs eliminated).
This will be fixed in the next version.

Hmm that's weird. To be honest I don't really have an idea what could be wrong there. The player_spawn and round_start seems to be ok.

Please make sure to disable all other plugins while you're testing it.
Also make sure you have the latest ES and SPE version. The scripted was tested with:
* EventScripts - Version: 2.1.1.379
* Source Python Extensions - Version: 1.6.1, r146"

By the way are you running windows or linux ?
It could also be a problem between ES/SPE and SourceMod.
