Seems bonbon hasn't been on the forum in a few days. She's probably just on vacation. She will be the one that fixes anything in her script that might be causing issues. Be patient, and give her time.

My Linux server sometimes crashes on startup/it doesn't even come online. Sometimes this happens even if I haven't loaded any scripts on startup.

banking is going well. tomorrow i will test the cc balancer script.

awp restriction script or cc balancer make a crash after mapchange.

First of all, thank you Mattie and any other developers.

I'm having trouble getting this to work. If I put eventscripts in to my addons folder, my server will start, and the automatically stop. I see nothing in /cstrike/logs.

I've deleted my whole addons folder as said on the first page. I've tried steam update.

Any ideas?

Edit: I fixed this problem by steam updating twice. I guess it doesn't pick everything up in one go.

This update works great on my server, I'm only running basic/auth, nademod, and bbank and they all work fine with the beta update.

Playerlib has a bug with using playerlib.getUseridList(): with 0 params.

Replace the entire def getUseridList(): block in playerlib.py with:

Also a side note, event "player_team" seemed to be crashing my server by joining spectate from CT/T when using it in my Donator Script. Had to use ClientCommandFilter to catch "jointeam" as a workaround.

Quick question


We installed the latest release and it seems while some scripts work others do not. Is this to be expected? Do the script authors need to update their scripts for whatever reason? I just want to make sure I'm not losing my mind and this is normal.

First congratulations Mattie, fantastic job! Of course, congratulations for all wich help this to be alive!

In my case, after many many server CRASHES on starup, problem IS SOLVED!!!

When server restarts, rename just the mattie_eventscripts.vdf to mattie_eventscripts.OFF and server is up.
I type on hlsw console "plugin_load cstrike/addons/mattie_eventscripts" and:

01:38:39 [EventScripts] Initial Loading of Mattie's EventScripts plugin...
Unable to load playerinfomanager, ignoring

I would say by doing that it will disable your Metamod plugins.

There are still some issues, the unofficial release fix had these and it seems that the current version has them too. Whenever some player types a letter ö or ä into the chat or line ends to letter one of these letters (both are commonly used in finnish language), the server outputs this into the server console:

Basically i have all these custom commands there that do a certain thing, display a line of text, map name, players rank and similiar. This worked fine _before_ the update so there must be something wrong with the ES itself.In-game, it looks like this:

So, for example i have a line:

This tells players bomb stats, plants, defuses, tries, etc. But even when player does not type !bomb, but instead ö or ä into the chat, all these commads get spit out as you can see on the chat.

Please have a look what is wrong, because this is quite annoying bug.
