Source Python Extensions! - works fine.
SPE with Dynamic Hooks [ALPHA] - crash my server at start.

I seem to be able to load ES, and can get SPE to start up under some circumstances, and the non-alpha will not start at all for me. Could one of my other plugins or ES scripts be causing this? (windows server 2008 r2)

EDIT: After some testing, it seems to matter where I put the

plugin_load "addons/sp_extensions_ep2"
line

If I place it at the end of my autoexec.cfg file it will load SPE, but any es_load'ed scripts that need SPE will fail to load on startup. If I then try to manually es_load the failed scripts after the server has started up and SPE is loaded, the server will then crash.
Similarly, if I place the plugin_load line at the beginning of my autoexec, the server just crashes on startup after loading a few es addons

You should try having the plugin_load line at the very top of your autoexec (maybe after eventscripts_checkforupdate and any other ES specific variables) and es_load your scripts in your server.cfg.

I think it was fratacos's est replacement script that was causing issues, I updated that to his latest version and am not experiencing any crashes any more

It "works" for me, but there are certain signatures that are not working. Are you running Windows or Linux?

I'm not sure specifically, I have several addons that require spe...the one which I think uses it most is fratacos's EST replacement

That's because the "OnTakeDamage" signature is not up-to-date.

  • Fixed Linux crash
  • Fixed thiscalls on Linux
  • Fixed HookAction.Modified on Linux and Windows
  • Fixed some documentation
  • Added spe.getTrampoline() for calling hooked functions without executing the hook (big example viewtopic.php?f=25&t=46254&start=6)
  • Updated lots of offsets and signatures
  • Changed two Msg() to DevMsg() ("Stage 1:..." and "Adding callback.")
